How to Travel (Comfortably) in Style

Summer is quickly approaching and with it comes vacations. If you’re ready to upgrade your traveling habits, follow these easy steps and you’ll be ready to set off in style.

  • Pre-Travel Prep

In the market for a new suitcase? Try something statement making. Before you go anywhere, you need luggage, and there are so many options available now that aren’t black, basic, and boring. Not only will your new luggage look great in the obligatory bon voyage Instagram post, but the pattern or color can be even more practical. When it comes time for baggage claim, your suitcase will be much easier to find.

  • The Ultimate Airport Outfit

Especially if you’ve got a long, cramped flight ahead of you, you’re going to want to be comfortable, but that doesn’t mean you can’t look, and feel, good doing it. Try a pair of velvet joggers or detailed leggings to be comfortable and on trend. Going through airport security can be a hassle, but it doesn’t have to be. Opt for cute, comfortable shoes that can be easily slipped on and off. Lace-less tennis shoes or backless mules are two great options depending on the type of airport look you’re going for.

  • On-Board Essentials

Even if your airline provides you with a pillow and eye mask, they might not be what you need. The look of these might not seem like a big deal, but chances are that if you bring your own, you’ll be more comfortable. If they are stylish, that’s just an added bonus. Its also important to keep in mind the most important part of your travel look – you. Don’t forget to pack things like moisturizer and lip balm to keep your skin hydrated and looking its best.

Now you’ve got what you need to have a stylish summer. Even if you’re not taking a long flight, you can easily adapt these tips for whatever journey you encounter.
